Q Is there a separate job application website for Encore at Wynn Las Vegas?

A No. You can apply for employment at both Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn Las Vegas on the same website. Simply visit us at www.wynnjobs.com.

Q Why is the application only in English? What should I do if I need assistance?

A Most of the jobs at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn Las Vegas require employees to read and speak some English.

Q How do I know my application was received?

A When you have completed your entire application and have clicked on the "Submit" button you will be brought to a page that will acknowledge that your application has been received.

Q If I fill out an application online is there any way for me to talk to someone about my application?

A First, visit the My Status page. You will be able to obtain all of the information you need to know about your application and the hiring process there. If you still have a question that was not answered on your status page, you may visit us during our office hours of Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Q How do I change information on my application?

A You can change information on your application by logging into your My Status page on www.wynnjobs.com.

Q Can I view and print my application?

A Yes, you can both view and print your application from the My Status page.

Q Can I attach my resume to the online application?

A There is no need to attach or send a resume since all the information we need to assess your skills and qualifications is contained in the application. If you are selected for an interview you may be asked to bring your resume at that time.

Q Can I apply for more than one job?

A No. You can only apply for one job at a time. Make sure you apply for the job that most closely matches your experience, skills, and qualifications. If you wish to withdraw from one position and apply for another one, you may do so at any time. If you are notified that you are not being considered for the job you applied for, you may then apply for a different one if you wish.

Q How do I change the position I have applied for?

A You can change the position you apply for by logging onto www.wynnjobs.com. There is a "Withdraw" button on the My Status page. After withdrawing from the currently selected position, you may search for another position if you desire. It is not necessary to complete another application; however there will be additional questions that need to be answered once the position change is made.

Q I accidentally withdrew my application, how can I get it reinstated?

A If you withdraw your application by mistake please e-mail wynnjobs@wynnlasvegas.com and one of our representatives will be able to assist you during our office hours Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Q I don't see the position I want to apply for. Why not?

A There are two possible reasons. The first reason is that the job may not be currently available. The second reason is that the job you are searching for may be known under a different title than you are used to. If you cannot find the job you are looking for right away, use keywords in the Job Search field. For example, enter the key word of "maid" and you'll see the job "Guest Room Attendant" displayed. Q How can I find out how much a certain job pays?

A Wages are discussed during job interviews.

Q Does Wynn Las Vegas/Encore at Wynn Las Vegas do drug testing?

A Yes, drug testing is a condition of employment at our company. At Wynn Las Vegas, we use a hair test that identifies the use of illegal substances.

Q Why am I asked to list my date of birth, height, and weight in the background section?

A Your birthday, height, and weight are used for background check purposes only. The information is never used in consideration of a job opportunity. Hiring managers and supervisors do not see, nor have access, to this information.

Q My spouse is currently an employee of Wynn Las Vegas/Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. Can I still apply?

A Prior written approval from the current employee’s Division Vice President, the Division Vice President of the applicant seeking employment, the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and the President and Chief Executive Officer is required before relatives and cohabitants can be hired.

Q Why do I have to give you my Social Security Number to complete the application?

A Your Social Security number is used for background check purposes only. Because our site is secure, hiring managers and supervisors do not see, nor have access, to this information.

Q Do I need former hotel/casino experience?

A It depends upon the position. There are several positions that have qualifications that utilize crossover skills from other industries, and there are some positions that are very hotel/casino specific. The job description shown for each job will tell you the specific requirements for that position.

Q With whom will I be interviewing?

A If you are selected to interview for a position, you will interview with a member of that department's management team.

Q Is the Culinary and Bartender Union at Wynn Las Vegas/Encore at Wynn Las Vegas?

A Yes. The Las Vegas Culinary Worker’s Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union, Local 165 is at Wynn Las Vegas.

Q What if I have special needs and require help filling out my application?

A If you are hearing or sight impaired, or have other special needs, you may schedule an appointment to fill out an application and our Wynn Employment representatives will assist you with this process or you may bring someone to help you complete your application.

Q What is an I-9?

A An I-9 is a document required by the Immigration and Naturalization Department to ensure that all persons working in the United States are authorized to do so. There are specific documents necessary to complete an I-9. Click on the I-9 link below for a list of acceptable I-9 documents.

Q Why do I need to create a Username and Password?

A We ask you to create a Username and Password to make your application secure and to ensure your privacy. By logging on using your Username and Password, you can check on the status of your application, edit the information you provided, and/or view instructions you may receive from our company. Please be sure to keep your password confidential and do not share it with others.

Q What happens if I forget my password?

Gaming Registration

Q Do all jobs require a gaming registration?

A Only positions defined under the definition of a “gaming employee” require a gaming registration. All appropriate work cards are discussed during the interview process.

Q How do I get a gaming registration if I need one?

A If offered a position that requires a gaming registration; you will be able to pick up a complete packet from the Wynn Employment Center. At which time, the packet will be explained exactly what is needed from you and the locations where you may obtain them.

Q I have a Gaming registration already, will I need to get a new one?

A No, unless it is expired. You will simply complete a Gaming Control Board Change of location form at the time of the job offer.
