ABOUT
Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter-composer Ben Folds has created an enormous body of genre-bending music, including pop albums with Ben Folds Five, multiple solo albums, and numerous collaborative records.
He released his latest pop solo album in 2023 and his first Christmas album in 2024; both received rave reviews, and live shows saw sold-out performances. Last fall, he recorded a live album slated for release in 2025 with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where he served eight years as the NSO's first artistic advisor.
Currently, Folds tours as a pop artist and performs with some of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras.
A New York Times best-selling author and former podcast host, he works on new compositions for film, TV and theater and frequently guest stars in movies and TV.
In 2022, Folds launched a music education charitable initiative in his native state of North Carolina entitled “Keys For Kids. " This initiative provides funds and keyboards to existing nonprofits that offer free or affordable piano lessons to school-age children from economically disadvantaged households. As a member of Americans For The Arts and the Arts Action Fund, Folds advocates for improving public policies for arts and arts education nationally.
