Nate Bargatze: Las Vegas Residency
After his previous sold-out shows, “The Nicest man in Stand-Up” once again brings his unique and hilariously relatable brand of humor to Encore Theater in January 2025.
One of the biggest bands from the U.K. to ever hit the United States, Culture Club’s career spans 40 years of new-wave pop and soul songs such as “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.”
Boy George’s unmistakable voice guided the group of ethnically diverse musicians into selling 100 million singles and 50 million albums worldwide and winning a GRAMMY Award.
Front man George and bassist Mikey Craig formed Culture Club, joined by Jon Moss and then guitarist Roy Hay. Realizing they had a crossdressing Irish singer (George), a black-Briton (Craig), a Jewish drummer (Moss) and an ethnic Englishman (Hay), they settled on the name Culture Club, referring to the various ethnic backgrounds of the members. A multi-racial band, with an openly gay front man, Culture Club led the curve and changed perceptions forever in music, fashion and art.
Culture Club band members Craig, Hay and George, together with a 13-piece band, play Encore Theater in February 2023.
