Taylor Tomlinson is having a huge 2024, including a new Netflix special “Have It All,” and a new title, "queen of late night," as she hosts the new CBS late night show “After Midnight.” Executive produced by Stephen Colbert, the series follows “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and makes her, at 30-years-old, the youngest person to host a late night show on network television, and the only woman.
Tomlinson’s Netflix special “Look At You,” was recognized as the top comedy special of 2022 by Vulture, Los Angeles Times, and New York Times. That milestone only added to the star power of the woman who has been characterized as “representative of a new generation of comedians.”
Tomlinson is honest and real about what it's really like being young today. Her delivery is world-weary yet amused, she compares dating to watching “Titanic,” laments how difficult it is to be 30 and under, and draws on her faith-based upbringing to illuminate truths about contemporary life.
With appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” CBS “This Morning,” “Kelly Clarkson” and three Netflix specials under her belt, Tomlinson skewers modern life with self-deprecating precision-dating, friendships, and our evolving relationship with technology, and reality.
